During Rural Exposure Camps to Nelamangala, Solur, Sindagi and Manvi, students are often taken for fieldwork across various disciplines, providing them with firsthand experience and practical knowledge. These field activities such as sowing, reaping, uprooting the dried put grass etc offer them invaluable insights into agriculture, animal husbandry and environmental conservation, fostering a deeper understanding of rural life and sustainable practices. Additionally, visits to brick factories and surveys expose students to the challenges and realities of labor-intensive industries, highlighting the importance of socio-economic development and workplace safety. Students also perform various streetplays highlighting the social issues identified and also provide possible measures and solutions that the vulnerable and marginalized could benefit from. Such experiential learning opportunities not only enhance academic learning but also cultivate empathy, critical thinking and a holistic understanding of societal dynamics among students.
